Kids Photography Club Ltd. was founded in 2010 as the UK’s first fully professional, children’s photography teaching club. Built around the philosophy that fun and creativity sparks learning. Our mission is to inspire young people to be confident, creative and knowledgeable about photography.

With a continually growing network of schools working alongside us and a dynamic team of teachers, thousands of children have experienced our own unique brand of fun photography.

Kids Photo Club encourages creativity, expression, confidence and independence. Our approach to teaching photography encourages our young photographers to understand the science behind photography, a skill that is not only rare, but also very useful in the modern world of digital media.

We have taught thousands of children to date, and we believe that our courses are simply the best. To read some of our reviews CLICK HERE

What will your child be learning at Kids Photography Club?

Kids Photography Club teaches children advanced photography techniques through a series of games, activities and group work; with emphasis on fun, creativity and experimentation.

Spread over 6 sessions, at the end of each course students will have learnt fundamentally important photography skills, such as perspective, composition, focus, the rule of thirds, shutter priority, post-editing, ISO levels, aperture, and more.

Each young photographer is given high quality cameras and photography equipment to use throughout the course. The course is designed to be suitable for children aged 4 and up with the basics being taught to all pupils, with further advanced learning for the pupils who really pick photography up quickly.

You will receive all your child’s photographs on a USB stick

All pupils are split into small groups, where they are lead through a series of tasks and games to help them learn the main photography skills. At the end of each course, each child will receive a USB SNAP-BAND portfolio of their work to show their friends and family what they have been doing over the duration of the course.

What people are saying about Kids Photography Club

We have had the “Kids Photography Club” for the past two years at KGJS, we find the after school club to be exceptional value for money for our pupils and parents. The pupils who have undertaken the course have consistently expressed how much they enjoy it, to the point where one pupil entered a photograph taken during the most recent course into a competition and won first prize in the young photographer section. I highly recommend Kids Photography Club for both their professionalism and ability to fascinate pupils with their course.”

Mrs. Roberts, Headmistress, Kirkham Grammar Junior School

Kids Photography Club offer something completely different for our after school program, engaging, fun and good value for money. The pupils who have undertaken the course all thoroughly enjoyed it and are using their new skills in a number of class projects. I would recommend Kids Photography Club to any school as an addition to their after school program.”
